On Saturday, October 8th we flew Boy Scouts from troop 488 from Radcliff Kentucky.
We started off the day with a thorough preflight demonstrated by our Young Eagles coordinator Tanner Matheny. He explained how critical it is to conduct a thorough preflight inspection. After that, each Boy Scout received a flight by a Young Eagles Volunteer Pilot. All the scouts were very appreciative and enjoyed their day!
They will enjoy the aviation merit badge, I’m sure!

Email in part from 488 Troop leader; Thanks to your entire group. We did many activities the week we were in Pensacola and the aircraft preflight and rides were their favorite. That was the first thing they shared with their parents when we arrived home.
